We're not used...

to cold weather in the UK. Being an Island kept balmy by the warm gulf stream it's not very often arctic temperatures descend on these shores. However it has been so cold even the Great British Penguin has sloped off to sunnier climes. The GBP, not a native of these parts usually swims north for the shopping but lo, the weather closed most shops, as can be seen in my photo.

Whilst I appreciate this bit of snow doesn't seem much to hardier types who live on cold continental land masses it does mean a great deal to me. Wey hey!

I thought you were locked out so I waited a day or two... clearly didn't need to.

Weather looks cold enough to me! It's the slush in the streets that's lethal I've learned. Will let you know if the penguins show up over here.

Wow. That looks like somewhere in Canada.

Sorry that you're not used to it. As for me, we have a saying in Canada. We have 2 seasons, Winter and July.

I thought I'd find you sitting in a tub with dawgs pulling your sleigh in the streets, Dan.

Dear All,

pardon the delay in replying. Ah, life, it just keeps getting in the way!
