yesterday, 7:30 AM (ok, late to work again) I went through the door into east-facing room in house and was BLINDED. Wondered (stunned, blinking)... what light could I possibly have left on and is shining in my eyes?
was a complete stranger, the sun.
rained again later.
broke the stretch Wed. No rain. Longest contiguous stretch of rainy days here in recorded history. (which, granted, being California, isn't all that long.) started up again Thurs and Friday, is expected this weekend.
Ah April, it's a fickle month. I blame global warming and el ninio. If I ever produced a child I shall call him (if it's a him of course) Alfonse El Ninion Flynn. Only because that name makes me laugh.
ps,
see, being late is GOOD! If you'd left for work on time you'd have missed that bit of sun.
Re the digital camera, it produces images that are closer to the aesthetics I'm trying to reach before the shutter is pressed, so I like it for that. Plus the images are sharper than on my old 35mm SLR and so takes better picture. It certainly does for me! And when I get a moment I'll get a flkr.
D,
I was sorry to give up my old Canon 1000fn, but it had to go. Once I was snooty about digital but typically I've now become a digital bore. Yawn, yawn, yawn...
Can you send the rain here? On seconds thoughts, no, I hear we're going to have some real heavy May / June rain. And that's when the cricket planning idiots usually organise for cricket to be played in Guyana.

New camera, huh?
Don't worry, until you start posting pics of your ceiling, your doorway and your belly bottom it is not a matter to worry about...
Annie,

G,
You realise that now you've got a digital camera you'll have to start posting photos of Georgetown?
As for the rain, well I live in rainy Manchester so I'm used to it. It rains here cricket or no.
Haha! So now you can post some pics of guyana every once in a while, heh GG? :D
