bike. So I've been out cycling. So I've taken some photos. So here's one of a footbridge at
Castlefield in Manchester. Sometime prior to Castlefield becoming a canal basin it was a favourite hangout of the Romans. And those of you who've read any Roman history will know what a bunch of bad bastards them ancient Romans were.
Romans are no longer a worry in Castlefield so all in all I had a good day out. Thank you for asking.

is that you on the bone-shaker then? what a fine moustache you have...
Why Annie, thank you kind Madam. I cut quite the dashing figure dontchathink! Afraid the moustache is hired though.
Why is it when you got for a bike ride, you're viewing thousands of years of history. When I go out, I see a new high rise that not completed. We don't have a history here. Just Urban Sprawl.
Oh yeah TAG !!!
K,
It's called an accident of history. You in Canada, me in Europe. However, I'd love to experience the sheer awesomeness of Canada, those mighty forests, incredible mountains, the continental span, the fact there's only about 35 million of you lot in a a country larger than the US. Indeed, unless I'm mistaken is not Canada the largest country on the planet? I find that impressive.
ps
Don't understand the TAG connection.
If I lived in a place where drivers / thieves respected lives, I'd ride a bicycle too. This is flat land, so it's even easier. Except when riding along the coast against the wind. But oh, what fun it would be.
You're enjoying life, aren't you, Dan? Good.
G,
It's true. I am enjoying life, I generally do however I particularly enjoy life in the spring. And it's spring now. Wey hey!
I once grew Mickey Mouse hands in Castlefield.
Don't ask.
It's a brain thing.
Mine is sometimes sore.
Buff,
Hmmm, try moderating the class A drugs. I find that helps when one begins to sprout things from the extremities. However, if you manage this experience sans drugs then brilliant, think of all the money you save.
