Amanda's microwave...

oven as a shelf. But what a shelf: champagne; coffee; eggs; crisps (potato chips to my American friends); radio; oatcakes; bread rolls; something in foil and a green peg.

Looks good to me! Enjoy the bubbly
As you slide down the banisters of life, may the splinters never point the wrong way.

Sandy,

I like the idea of sliding down the bannister of life. Life as a staircase? Hmmm. Life as an escalator maybe, with a nice restaurant at the end, with wine. Of course you slide down a bannister rather than up. Are you saying I'm going to hell? Think I'd prefer hell to heaven, the Devil has all best tunes and most probably the best parties. Can you imagine how boring heaven is with everyone being good all the time, and what's with the white sheets? And I bet they only eat milky puddings, and oats. Whereas down below it's barbecues everyday and so what if the beer's warm. Huzzah!

Lol Never thought of it that way, Dan but you are right of course, not about you going to Hell lol but having the best food, drink, music and all that heat is a damnable wild combination ~ it has to be fun. So race you to the top of the stairs/escalator and yippppppeeeeee fast track all the way to the bottom. :p

Look at your blog! All slick and fancy and...and...fabulous!

When our microwave died I wanted to use it as a cupboard. But we dumped it. No more microwave.

Best of escalators going up for you in 2007 dear Dan.

I want that radio.

Now, please.

G,

all my escalators this year are the ones going up. Oh yes.

Buffy,

the radio can be purchased by making a reasonable offer to DF Enterprises, Levenshulme, Manchester. Sole Prop: Dan Fynn.

I see a business opportunity here, selling goods belonging to friends.

You neglect to mention the coffee pot!! What is something wrapped in foil without hot fresh espresso?

Not sure what the item in tin foil is. Think it might be cake, or a baked potato, or maybe even more tin foil...
