currently touring India. I promised her a mention so here it is, though that desert could be anywhere. North of Liverpool is a 10 mile or so stretch of shallow coastline that has sandunes and sand. To the best of my knowledge it doesn't have camels so I suspect she really is in India.

Wot a lucky girl. I wish I could travel, gee, my feet itch to travel. Only thing is, being on a plane is so tedious.

Lucky and brave methinks. She took herself off to India, did some voluntary work whilst out and then explored the country. Quite an experience.

I've never even rode a horse so from nothing to a camel would be for me a leap too far. Aren't you Californians supposed to be natural tamers of animals and stuff?
