Been to Liverpool...

today and took these photos of Anthony Gormley's incredible exhibition titled 'Another Place' on Formby beach.

There are 100 of these lifesize figures stretching 3K up the beach.

And 1k out into the surf. It's an astonishing sculpture that changes as the tides ebb and flow and as the seasons alter.

The weather was crap.

Lucky! I'd love to see this. Great pictures too.

Ah,

Kathy, you say the nicest things!

Annie,

You should come and see the exhibition, it's worth the trip north. It moves on in November, rumour has it, to New York.

Rather lifelike sculptures. The first image seemed like a real dude all covered in sand at the first glance!

D,

It's very impressive in the flesh (well cast iron) I can tell you.

The exibition is brilliant but unfortunately moves on in November this year. Next time I go, I'll let you know.
