Does the sea cover them completely at high tide?

G,

The sea covers some of them. The ones furthest out are a kilometre from the shore so as the tide goes in and out some of the statues are completely covered and some are partially covered. It looks as though people are standing in the water. The overall effect therefore changes with the tide, with the weather (sunny, rainy etc) and season. A really excellent sculpture.

Sandy,

I'm really impressed with Anthony Gormley, the sculpter.
